'Dynasty' earrings

I made these fabulous clip-on earrings in 2012, and when I showed them to people they were shocked at how outrageous and 'eighties' they were, just a bit tooooo much...

But now they have found their time again I believe.

I was making jewellery like this in the eighties ofcourse, so even though I can see how OTT they are, to me they don't seem shocking.

They're sparkling statement shoulder-dusters/ earrings!

I used quality vintage components from a small manufacturer which was closing down years ago, from the eighties, contemporary Swar. Austrian crystals mostly coated with beautiful AB dreaminess, or golds, to add a mysterious shimmer.

Warning: Not for the faint-hearted!!
