Collection: vintage & antique
The renowned vintage emporium known as The Banana Room (Adelaide 1974-2002), was world famous in it's peak time. The proprietor, Sophie van Rood was Candy's mother. Candy Spender-van Rood has her own collection of Banana Room pieces given to her by her mother, or curated after the store closed.
These pieces shown here are precious and some of them very old.
All care has been taken to photograph and describe accurately the condition they are in. All are one-of-a-kind collectors items.
