Here they are, my third tongue-in-cheek version of Coco Chanel's famous pearl necklaces, which were costume jewellery.
She unabashedly mixed costume jewellery with her fine antique and (at the time) contemporary gold
and platinum pieces. Apart from many things about her, this has always been a great inspiration to me.

Julia-Louise Premoselli - stylist on the move
I met Julia-Louise just as I was moving my studio, everything was in absolute chaos. She arrived at my front door impeccably dressed, and inscrutible in her organisational skills. I immediately knew that some beautiful photos were going to come my way. And here are just some of them.

My new Balaclava studio
Its wonderful, we love our new place,
the light is great, and the area is the extraordinary.
The best food shopping strip in Melbourne, we think!
So far I've had quite a few people
come up to order their commissions
for Spring Racing Carnival, a few weddings and just
the new jewels appearingon my bench are something else, stay tuned!

Self Preservation
I have spent the last few weeks tweeking blogs and twitter,
to get more of an understanding of what the term
'online presence' means. Even though I work on
this site and several others quite regularly,
nothing much changes. But now I've discovered twitter,
and am having fun creating this online presence.
I am showing this picture of the display at Self Preservation
to submit that I am still working on my on-the-ground
presence as well.
